DIY Pillow

Hello Readers,

This post is about making a super easy and I mean super easy, DIY pillow. Let’s get into it:

Step 1: Find a plain pillow

image1This could be one lying around the house, I using one that was on my bed and needed to be spiced up a little bit.

Step 2: Find a scarf that is not that important image2

Don’t worry, this pillow is not permanent, so you can still wear your scarf by taking it off the pillow.

Step 3: Making the pillowimage3

This is so simple. Place the pillow in the middle of the scarf and bring all the edges to the middle of the pillow and tie a knot. Flip over the pillow.

You are done. This is very easy and inexpensive so you can change up your pillow for any season or event.

Hairstyles to rock these holidays

Hello Readers,

As it is holidays, you are probably going to have a lot of spare time. A way to spend some of that time is to practice hairstyles. Not only is this fun, it is practical because when school goes back you can put those awesome hairstyles into action. You can even experiment with with different combos of braids, buns, twists and more to make your unique hairstyles! In this blog post I am going to teach you two easy hairstyles, the donut bun and the twisted ponytail.

1. The donut bun

You will need:

  • 2 hair elastics
  • 1 hair donut
  • 1 hairbrush
  • As many bobby pins as you need
  • Hairspray if desired

  1. Gather your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a hair elastic.
  2. Slide the hair donut over your ponytail.
  3. Let the hair fall over the hair donut, making sure that you cannot see the hair donut. Secure with an elastic.
  4. Take the leftover hair, split it in half and twist them each around the bun and secure them with bobby pins.
  5. You are done! Finish with hairspray if needed.

2. The twisted ponytail

You will need:

  • 1 hair elastic
  • 1 hairbrush
  • Hairspray if desired

  1. Put your hair into a low loose ponytail and secure with an elastic.
  2. Make sure the area above the elastic is loose, split it in half and flip the ponytail though that gap.
  3. You are done! Finish with hairspray if needed.
